Dr. Caroline Carter Marrs is board-certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and in Maternal Fetal Medicine from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She provides services at our Medical City of Dallas office. Dr. Marrs’ special areas of interest are prenatal ultrasound, high-risk pregnancy, multifetal gestation, and surgical treatment of incompetent cervix.

Dr. Marrs completed medical school at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, residency at The University of Texas at Houston, and fellowship at The University of Texas Medical Branch.

She achieved a Best Research Award at the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine 2016 conference. She served as principal investigator of a dual-site, randomized clinical trial investigating the effect of skin incision type on cesarean wound complications. Dr. Marrs also serves as a reviewer for multiple medical journals.

Dr. Marrs is a Dallas native. After her medical training in Houston and Galveston, she and her family returned to Dallas. They have three delightful daughters who are happy to be in Dallas with their extended family.
