
Dr. Laura Greer practices Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas office.
She grew up in Stillwater, Oklahoma and graduated magna cum laude with departmental distinction in biology from Hendrix College. She graduated from The University of Texas School of Law and practiced law here in the metroplex and served as an assistant district attorney before starting her medical career. She attended medical school and completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency and maternal fetal medicine fellowship at UT Southwestern.
During fellowship, she developed a special interest in infectious diseases in pregnancy and conducted clinical research during fellowship that includes several publications on influenza in pregnancy. Currently, she is an active member of the Fetal Anomaly Care and Treatment (FACT) program at Medical City Dallas, dedicated to helping families with pregnancies complicated by infants with birth defects and genetic disorders.
Dr. Greer enjoys spending time with her extended family and friends in the metroplex. She is passionate about physical fitness, and is an avid runner having completed several half marathons. She also enjoys yoga and snow skiing.
